Yoma Bank Introduces an Innovative and Inclusive Yoma Bank Next Mobile Appilication

The newly introduced Yoma Bank Next Mobile Application promotes nationwide financial inclusion

March 22, 2024, Yangon – Yoma Bank introduces an innovative and inclusive mobile application called Yoma Bank Next Mobile Application, designed to enhance quaility services and strategic initiatives in alignment with the vision of ‘Building a Better Myanmar for its People’.

The newly introduced mobile application aims to narrow the gap between traditional banking customers and digital users by offering easy, fast, and secured techology. The initiative not only promotes the financial inclusion but also extends support to various communitities and customers in their daily financial activities.

The official launch of Yoma Bank Next took place on March 22, 2024, at Melia Hotel Yangon, with media and journalists in attendance. U Nyan Myint Aung, Acting Chief Products, Services, and Channels Officer of Yoma Bank, expressed, “Yoma Bank comprehensively recognizes the evolving needs of this digital age. As such, we are keen to introduce financial services that genuinely benefit our communities. With the launch of our mobile app, Yoma Bank is ready to deliver enhanced user experiences and generate positive impacts for our customers and digital users”.

Advanced Digital Banking Solutions for Enhanced Performance

With the slogan ‘Bank Smarter, Next Better,’ Yoma Bank Next promises seamless user experiences anytime, anywhere. The app enables users to access not only QR codes within the Yoma Bank Next mobile application but also, Wave QR Codes for purchases and e-money transfers. Additionally, it seamlessly connects with over 50 local banks for money transactions. Users can easily activate the app with any Yoma Bank account and access a range of services, including mobile top-ups, bill payments for electricity and internet, coupons, ticketing services, and fixed deposits, without needing to visit a bank in person.

With biometric authentication features such as fingerprint and facial recognition, the app ensures peace of mind for all users. Additionally, the app actively promotes scam awareness among its users. It is available for download on Google Play, Apple Store and Huawei AppGallery.
