Supporting Our Customers
People across the globe are feeling the effects of the ever-evolving COVID-19 crisis. We understand that many of our customers and clients in Myanmar may also be experiencing the impact of COVID-19 on multiple levels, including economic hardship. Customers may have difficulties in making repayments on their borrowing or clients may be facing cash flow challenges.
Yoma Bank is working hard to ensure that customers in need are receiving maximum assistance. We are helping customers with access to finance and wider support. We are giving priority to proactively contact concerned customers to help them navigate their financial challenges.
Our Customers
Corporate Customers / SME Customers / Agriculture Customers
Since COVID-19 hit the country in 2020, businesses have been severely affected with operations partially or fully disturbed by the crisis. Yoma Bank understands that businesses need ongoing access to finance as they recover from the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. We strive to help where we can, however we can.
If your business faces challenges in making repayments, we are here to work with you and provide available financial assistance and advice.
SMART Credit Business / SMART Credit Customers
To help our SMART Credit business & personal customers who were having financial struggles as a result of the COVID-19 crisis, we introduced a special relief program in March 2021 which ended in April 2021.
Home Loan Customers
We anticipated that making the regular repayments will be a huge burden on our loan customers during the COVID-19 economic downturn. To ease off pressure for our customers we have launched a 6 months loan deferral program in April 2020 until it ended in June 2020. The measures we took in response to the crisis situation have managed to lessen the financial anxiety of our customers.
