Employee Development

At Yoma Bank, we believe in the power of our People. Through the Yoma Performance Development Center, we are committed to nurturing talent and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Our development approach is centered on four core pillars:

  • Value-Based Culture
  • Leadership
  • Develop People Capability
  • Operational Excellence

These pillars guide our learning initiatives, which are designed to be a shared responsibility across the organization. We embrace the 10-20-70 learning model to ensure well-rounded development: 10% formal learning, 20% informal learning, and 70% on-the-job experience. This approach equips our People with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in their roles and contribute to our collective success.

The Yoma Performance Development Center offers both online and in-person training as part of our comprehensive learning culture that engages our people at all levels. In addition to these internal programs, Yoma Bank provides access to specialized training sessions conducted by the Myanmar Institute of Banking for the fiscal year 2023-2024.
