Biographical Details

U Htet Linn is Chief Information Officer of Yoma Bank, where he leads the Bank’s technology strategy and transformation agenda. His responsibilities include managing Banking Technology, cybersecurity, digital innovation, technology governance, and platform modernization, all aimed at supporting the Bank’s growth and enhancing customer experience. He brings over 17 years of expertise from banking, fintech, manufacturing, and multinational technology settings, marked by a distinguished record in implementing large-scale technology transformations, establishing enterprise architecture, driving operational excellence, and facilitating organizational change. Since joining Yoma Bank in 2019, he has taken on a series of senior leadership roles, including Acting Chief Technology Officer, Head of Platform, Infrastructure and Applications, and Senior Manager of Enterprise Architecture.

Before joining Yoma Bank, he held leadership positions at Wave Money, where he contributed to the development of Myanmar’s digital financial services ecosystem through Enterprise IT Architecture, technology program delivery, platform transformation, and governance initiatives. His career has also progressed through Myanmar, Malaysia, and Singapore, giving him regional experience in technology leadership and business transformation. U Htet Linn is passionate about using technology to create business value, strengthen resilience, and enable sustainable growth. His expertise covers technology strategy, Enterprise IT Architecture, digital transformation, technology operations, cybersecurity, IT service management, and governance.

He holds an MBA in Financial Management from Rome Business School and a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Computer Studies, Mawlamyine.
