Biographical Details
U Ba Maung Sein was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer in March 2023. Prior to the appointment, he served as Chief Operation Officer, Head of Branch Banking, Head of Credit Risk, and Deputy Head of Corporate Credit since he joined the Bank in 2014. His professional career began as an underwriter and he also held operation, finance and consulting positions in insurance, retail, manufacturing, and Information Technology sectors in the USA and Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin in the USA and an MBA from McGill University in Canada.
